Protected Learning Time (Staff Training)
Wednesday 28 February 2024 from 1pm
In line with the protected learning time for General Practices across Tayside, the Practice is closed from 1 pm on Wednesday 28 February 2024, except for urgent medical care.
- If you require urgent medical care that afternoon, the practice reception team will refer you to the GP out-of-hours service who will then contact you back
- For non-urgent medical care, please call back the following day.
- Call 999 in a medical emergency.
Covid19 Update
From 1 May 2022, most people no longer need to take a coronavirus test and should follow guidance on staying at home if unwell. The latest guidance can be found at NHS Inform Covid19
COVID-19 Boosters
Vaccinations will take place in NHS Tayside community vaccination centres. Lochee Medical Practice / GPs are not offering COVID booster vaccinations so please do not contact the practice to ask about boosters. If you want to re-schedule your appointment, you must do this online or phone the national helpline on 0800 030 8013. Please note this is a national helpline and it can be busy - please keep trying. COVID Status Certification (COVID Passports)
Please do not contact the practice to ask for a Covid vaccination passport or status certificate – we will not be able to provide any standard document. For latest information please go to NHS Inform NHS Inform - Scotland Covid Status

Our dedicated team are here to treat those minor ailments that occur as well as providing specialist management of long-term conditions and clinics covering a wide range of healthcare issues. The technology also means you can now do a lot of things from the comfort of your home such as order a repeat prescription or cancel an appointment.

Parking & Accessibility
There is a patient car park available at Lochee Medical Practice with designated spaces available for patients with a disability. Our facilities in the surgery are accessible to all. However, if you require assistance please ask any of the staff. Patients requiring help accessing or exiting the building should inform reception staff when making their appointment.

We take care to ensure your personal information is only accessible to authorised people. Our staff have a legal and contractual duty to keep personal health information secure and confidential. The following security measures are in place to protect personal information:
